I started as a support worker working directly on the floor with the people we support, gradually progressing into a senior support worker role, team leader, deputy manager and then registered manager position.

I am very passionate about the work we do here at the CAHG and the people we support I will actively advocate on behalf of our clients and strive to deliver the best possible care and support we can ensuring their needs are well met, that they are treated with dignity and respect and where possible are fully involved in the planning and decision making on how they would like to be supported.

I promote and develop a holistic approach to the support we deliver which is fully encompassing of our client’s needs, offering choice, meaningful activities and developing a clear understanding of how they need to be supported. I do have a positive behavioural support background and look to implement this into our day to day working practices were appropriate and necessary.

It is important to me that the our clients and our team feel valued and listened too.

I am looking forward to CAHG growing and developing our business culture, helping identify appropriate and realistic goals for our clients to enable and empower them to achieve positive outcomes in their own lives.
